Hi
everyone, my name is Sweet William but everyone calls me
Willie, (or Wild Willie, or oh Willie! ) I came to live
at the garden center in September of 2007. I was living
in a cage at the pound and Megan came and took me to my
new home.
I was supposed to have a job, like catching mice and
bugs, but at first I just wanted
to play. I have lots of people here to pet me and carry
me around. I really like to greet customers and have
them pet me too.
I finally found a mouse to play with and it was a lot of
fun. Everyone told me what a good kitty I was and that
now I could stay at the store since I was earning my
keep. I didn't understand that. Why did I have to do
anything but look cute and get petted?
Now that I'm all grown up I like to
spend my days outside looking for grasshoppers, snakes,
bunnies and other things to take to my people. Snakes
will make them scream which is actually kind of fun, so
I look for them when ever I can. I caught a baby bird
one time but the mom and dad bird chased me all over the
parking lot so I don't think I will do that again. I
still find mice in the store to catch and show my
people, they think that I do a good job and I get extra
treats for that.
